Minister stresses importance of culture at Chinese conference on Asian civilisations
BEIJING (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Culture plays an important role in the process of socio-economic development and is fundamental to establishing and maintaining lasting friendly relationships, a Lao minister told a conference in Beijing last week.
Speaking at the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilisations in the Chinese capital, Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Prof. Dr Bosengkham Vongdara stressed the significance of culture for successful development.
